Azolla is an aquatic fern that doubles its biomass every 2-3 days with 25-30% protein content. Grown in shallow ponds with minimal input, it provides near-zero-cost feed for poultry and ducks.
Alfalfa provides the base diet for sheep and larger livestock. Grown on dedicated pivot irrigation, it can be harvested multiple times per year and stored as hay for year-round feeding.
Feed production feeds animals. Animal waste fertilizes crops and trees. Lower feed costs mean more revenue goes to humanitarian programs. The system becomes more efficient over time.
