"Indeed, We sent the Quran down during the Night of Power. And what can make you know what the Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months." (Quran 97:1-3)
Laylatul Qadr — the Night of Power — falls within the last 10 nights of Ramadan, most likely on one of the odd nights (21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, or 29th). A single deed performed on this night is rewarded as if performed for over 83 years.
Consider this: if you give $100 on Laylatul Qadr, the reward is equivalent to giving $100 every night for over 83 years — that's the equivalent of giving $100 on more than 30,000 nights.
This isn't metaphorical. Islamic scholars agree that deeds on Laylatul Qadr are literally multiplied to be better than 1,000 months of deeds.
Since we don't know exactly which night is Laylatul Qadr, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would increase his worship during all 10 nights. Apply the same strategy to giving:
Here's the most powerful giving formula: give sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) during the Night of Power. You get the multiplied reward of Laylatul Qadr PLUS the ongoing rewards of sadaqah jariyah that continue for years.
UMMA Farm campaigns are built for this — agricultural projects that produce food and fund relief for years after your donation. Give during these 10 nights and the impact multiplies in two dimensions.
